Who is the dog behind Good Dog Apparel Co? Our rescue dog, Chase, is the main focus of this brand and why I decided to start this company.
Chase was in a humane society in Texas for 3 months before they sent him to Minnesota. Even though his heart worm test was negative, when he arrived to MN, it was positive. We are lucky this was the case.
Rescues in the southern states that test positive for heart worm are normally put down as there aren’t the funds for treatment. If Chase had tested positive in Texas, he wouldn’t be with us today.
I want to try and make a difference to try to heal the dogs in shelters that can be healed, treating behaviors that can be treated, and prioritizing safety for pets.
